Hee, bet some of you thought this was going to be Pirates of the Caribbean-related 'cause of the title. :heart: Love the song! But yes. Meet Taku, the worst excuse for a pirate ever! Don't get me wrong--he loves the pirating life; he just really, really sucks at it. T__T He's the counterpart to *kaya-kioko's Sho, who happens to be the best bandit in the land.... who hates pirates. :3 They have an interesting story X)a

So I think this has officially been the looongest stretch of no uploading on DA, wah.... I know I've barely been doing anything on here T__T;; This year is proving to be a lot busier than before. SO FRUSTRATING, ARGH. Good news is I finally got a new scanner this summer (my last one broke during Christmas). I didn't bring it back to college since I had so much other luggage to carry, but after either this week or at Thanksgiving I'll be able to get it back and scan in my room again. :D Can you say YAY? ;__;v I hope to share some stuff from my sketchbook even if I don't get time to color.

Anyway, I sketched Taku out sometime in September and just had a chance to finish coloring last night when fall break began, so I decided to post here since it's been a few months. I probably won't be working on anything for myself again for a little while; I need to use whatever free time I have now to do stuff for other people whom I'm surprised haven't come after me with torches and pitchforks yet ;___;a Wish me luck!! :faint: As ever, thank you all for your comments, favs, etc. :love:

i love your coloring style...the hair is awesome and i really like the sleeve too :D i really like the effect of the expression coupled with the hair :D awesome as always~~~ ♥
